Today, artificial intelligence is one of the sciences and technologies that has this feature and because of its high effectiveness in various personal affairs. and social has been highly noticed by the governments, private sector and even ordinary people . Due to the high importance of the subject, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy has launched a headquarters for the development of artificial intelligence technology and robotics and appointed Dr. Behrouz Minai as its secretary . The main tasks assigned to the headquarters are as follows :
- Monitoring and identifying the capacities and challenges of technology development inside the country and its place in the future in interaction with different players in this field
- Taking advantage of the results of technology foresight studies with the aim of determining the work priorities of the headquarters
- Active participation in developing the technology development roadmap with the aim of improving all functional aspects of the innovation and technology system
- The development of emerging and transformative technologies is prioritized in order to respond to the future needs of the country
- Speeding up the targeted support for the development of research infrastructure and the development of priority technologies
- Holding events and implementing effective promotional activities with the aim of networking among different players in this field and creating legitimacy in policy-making institutions.
- In the agenda, placing the market for priority products and technological achievements according to the needs
- In various stages of development and maximum participation in the implementation of national and multi-field programs in cooperation with other technology development headquarters
The three factors of knowledge and skill, data infrastructure and computing infrastructure are the sides that make up the development of artificial intelligence technology. The rapid growth in this field began with the emergence of powerful graphic technologies for rapid information processing and the accumulation of large amounts of data and the discovery of the ability of deep learning tools to solve artificial intelligence problems in 2012 . With the remarkable successes achieved in the research community, large companies realized the high potential of artificial intelligence, which has caused the growth and development of this technology at a high rate .
The noteworthy point in this field is that, fortunately, in our country, the universities have well realized the importance of this technology and have entered this field from the beginning, so that according to the researches carried out, Iran's contribution in terms of research and creation of artificial intelligence sciences and Robotics is in very good condition. Thus, the knowledge and skill side of artificial intelligence technology in Iran is in an acceptable state, and if the government gives the task of proper investments in infrastructure and computing infrastructure, and the private sector also fulfills the task of development and agile application of this technology well. This goal, that the country does not fall behind advanced countries and civilized rivals in terms of the development of advanced technology, and according to the statement of the Supreme Leader of Iran, to be among the top 10 countries that own this technology, is a realizable goal. is
The objectives of the headquarters
The vision of the headquarters for the development of artificial intelligence and robotics technologies is as follows :
In the horizon of 1412, Iran has an established, advanced and innovative artificial intelligence technology, which is steadily using this technology as an effective tool in the governance and macro-economic, cultural and political issues of the country in a way which leads to increase in national security, increase in productivity at different levels, creation of national wealth and promotion of public welfare .
For the first year of the activity of the headquarters, the priority axes of the support programs have been determined, which are as follows :

- Implementation of studies to identify and evaluate the country's artificial intelligence ecosystem and data ecosystem
