Quantum Communications:

This working group is responsible for managing the development of quantum communications technology. Quantum communications, which have gained significant attention in recent years, are currently being commercialized, and many countries have been able to secure some of their telecommunications lines using this technology. Therefore, in our country as well, it is essential to develop this technology with the cooperation of all stakeholders and under the guidance of the Optics and Quantum Technology Headquarters within the country.

Quantum Sensors:

Quantum sensors can be considered one of the most important technologies of interest in Iran, as experts in the country have fortunately made significant advancements in this field. The Optics and Quantum Technology Headquarters is tasked with identifying capable experts in this field and providing the financial resources and facilitation required to meet their needs, in collaboration with other organizations such as the National Science Foundation.

Quantum Computing and Information:

It can confidently be said that quantum computing is one of the most promising and disruptive technologies in the near future. To harness the power of this potent technology, a suitable roadmap should be developed for achieving capabilities in quantum programming, quantum software, and quantum hardware development. The Optics and Quantum Technology Headquarters, in collaboration with national and international experts, aims to position the country appropriately in the next five to ten years in Iran's future.
