Council of Artificial Intelligence,
The Vice President of Science, Technology and knowledge-based economy visited the exhibition of the headquarters of the Development of Knowledge-Based Economy of Artificial Intelligence, Laser and Quantum at Iran's National Exhibition of Laser, Photonics and Quantum. During this visit, he was informed about the latest achievements and products of knowledge-based companies and technologists in this field, as well as their problems and requests. In this visit, the vice president of knowledge-based economy development of the scientific vice-president accompanied him.
In this unveiling ceremony, five products from the field of optics and one product from the field of quantum were unveiled in the presence of the Honorable Vice President of Knowledge-Based Economic Development of the Scientific Vice-Chancellor. These unveiled optical products include a molten iron thermometer produced by Danesh Banian Fateh Noor Mihan, a high-power Pomp Side laser marking system produced by Rayan Laser Azma, an advanced ultra-violet laser engraving machine produced by Novin Laser Saba, and a portable laser welding machine (air conditioner). The product of Noran Sanat Misbah (Nursam Photonics), a 20 kW fiber laser source produced by Noran Sanat Misbah (Nursam Photonics) and the atomic clock product of Shahid Beheshti University have been unveiled in the field of quantum.
"The 5th Iran Laser, Photonics and Quantum Specialized Exhibition" will be held for four days from 13th to 16th of November at the same time as the 24th industry exhibition at the permanent location of Tehran International Exhibition.
researchers, led by National Tsing Hua University professor Chuu Chih-sung, have developed what is being described as the world’s smallest quantum computer, powered by a single photon
The Nobel Prize in Physics 2024 was awarded jointly to John J. Hopfield and Geoffrey E. Hinton "for foundational discoveries and inventions that enable machine learning with artificial neural networks"
The declaration celebrates the role of quantum theory in developing our modern technological societies. Quantum theory began to clarify around 1925 after Erwin Schrödinger formulated his now famous equation. Today’s technological advances, from semiconductors to LEDs, are courtesy of our deepened understanding of the atomic world.
