Holding the International Trade Exhibition with Eurasia from March 23 to 26, 1403

The main motivation for countries moving towards trade liberalization is to achieve higher and superior economic growth and development in the global economy. Today, globalization has opened up national economies both domestically and internationally, and while internationalizing the global market, it has created a highly competitive environment in which only powerful and efficient economic units will survive.

Countries are trying to achieve competitive advantage in the global market through regionalism, to resolve trade and economic issues on a regional scale.
Therefore, for developing countries that are not ready to suddenly enter into free trade at the international level, regionalism can be the most effective way to gradually open up their national economies and integrate them into the global economy.

The formation of regional unions involves the desire of a group of countries in a specific geographical area for economic cooperation. The first signs of this are the conclusion of preferential agreements and the growth of trade and investment between them, and finally the formation of an economic union.

One of the most basic levels and forms of regional trade arrangements is preferential trade agreements. Participants in such arrangements reduce trade barriers, including tariffs and non-tariff barriers, in relation to a portion of each other's trade.
At a higher level than "preferential trade" agreements, countries move towards concluding "free trade" agreements. And after these two, the establishment of a customs union, which in addition to eliminating trade barriers, countries adopt common trade policies. Other forms of regional cooperation can be called the formation of a common market and finally, at the highest level of economic cooperation, the formation of an "economic union". In addition to providing a common market, members also act to unify monetary, financial, industrial and transportation policies.
